Data Sources
variaDoc can import data from a large variety of sources, including Microsoft SQL Server and XML documents.
Adding data sources
In order to be able to import the data, you first need to add a data source to your project. You do this by selecting the parent of the new data source in the merge tree and then clicking on Data in the Insert toolbar. First, specify the location and type of the data source to variaDoc. Upon adding the data source, it is selected and you can immediately give it a useful name. This name is used in expressions to reference data inside the source as we will see later on.
