Variable Data Printing (VDP)
What is Variable Data Printing?
Variable Data Printing (VDP) enables you to use information from a database to insert variable elements such as graphics and text into document templates without manual steps.
For example, a set of invoices that are identical in the original layout can be filled with different products, prices, names, and addresses on each individual invoice. Beyond this basic level of functionality, it is even possible to swap images and text based on customer preference. The technique is closely related to “mail merge”.
The returns for VDP vary from double the normal return to 10-15 times depending on the job: save time and money!
